As a Senior Product Manager in the Compute and Networking Business Unit (CNBU), you will be charged with defining and executing the strategy for High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) product portfolio that will further fortify Micron’s leadership position in the Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and High Performance Computing (HPC) business segments (https://www.micron.com/hbm3). You will lead a cross-functional team of key stakeholders from multiple engineering, marketing, and operations teams to develop the strategy, optimize the business case of each product, help drive products through each stage of Micron’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process, and lead the development activities of new products by specifying the requirements, setting priorities and handling tradeoff decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key team members to develop and establish the multi-year product strategy and roadmap for high performance memory product line
- Drive the product strategy across functional organizations to achieve the program objectives which includes working with engineering teams to design, develop and launch high quality products on time
- Develop Market Requirements Documents to address key customer needs and transform them to PRDs to develop industry leading product specifications
- Own and lead full life cycle of product portfolio from definition to execution to end of life, including the timely preparation and presentation of all stage gates and key product decisions
- Maintain an excellent understanding of customer needs, market requirements, and technology trends including memory tiering and stack optimization (CPU, GPU, HBM, GDDR, DDR4/5/6, 3DXP, SSD, HDD, CXL) to enable the development of the product portfolio
- Product strategy creation, including product positioning, customer plans, and pricing
- Develop experiments to benchmark to showcase product value prop in marketing collaterals and define future product requirements
- Development and continued optimization of the business case for each product in your portfolio, including unit cost, capex, revenue, R&D, opportunity cost and return on investment analysis
- Direct and indirect interface with customers to define product features, priorities, schedule and other requirements
- Collaborate with key external development partners and suppliers
- Monitor and work towards a comprehensive understanding of competitor products and strategies
- Lead the full product development process by acting as the key CNBU interface that provides product guidance to engineering, program management, operations, and manufacturing groups
- Lead the key activities required to launch new products into the market (NPI, new product introduction)
- Participate in the product management community by contributing to corporate process improvement and act as secondary/back-up product manager for assigned products
- Understanding of modern ML architectures and/or data center system architecture with respect to high performance memory
- Understanding of AI application landscape with a finger on the pulse of market trends
- 5+ years product management or product development with significant experience in both technical and business topics in a semiconductor or a computing systems company
- Excellent communication skills and presentation abilities with extensive customer facing experience
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple sites
- Consistent track record of strategy development
- Demonstrated business insight and the ability to complete complex technical projects
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
- MBA or Master’s Degree in engineering is preferred
