Senior Product Software Engineer - UI

Wolters Kluwer is seeking a Senior Product Software Engineer with strong UI expertise to join their team in Pune, India. This hybrid role requires a minimum of 7 years of experience, focusing on modern cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will work in agile teams, utilizing technologies like React.Js, Node.JS, and TypeScript, and will be proficient in web technologies, backend API integration, cloud, and DevOps practices. The role involves solving engineering challenges, collaborating internationally, and contributing to innovative software solutions that impact millions globally.

Must Have

• Strong experience in Typescript, React.js and NodeJS
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of Security best practices (e.g., authentication, authorization, secure coding)
• Strong experience in Unit Testing (vitest, Cypress) and Logging frameworks
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the software industry
• Experience in working in agile teams
• Strong UI expertise and deep understanding of frontend frameworks
• Experience working with modern cloud-based applications

Experience:

Key Skills:

• Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Backend & API Integration: Node.js creation of RESTful APIs (and orchestration)
• Cloud & DevOps: Docker, Jira, Git, Rush, (we use infra as code but run containers for local development)
• Security & Logging: Security Best Practices, ELK, Kibana
• Version Control & Build Tools: GitHub/BitBucket
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong experience in Typescript, React.js and NodeJS
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of Security best practices (e.g., authentication, authorization, secure coding)
• Strong experience in Unit Testing (vitest, Cypress) and Logging frameworks
