The candidate will also be responsible for regular reporting and maintaining a detailed understanding of the roadmap and business performance.

Job Details

We are looking for a motivated Project Manager with accountability for the delivery of large-scale technical software projects, through ongoing focused management and coordination with the dedicated project teams based across various international locations.

Role Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Engage with project sponsors/partners to agree project objectives, achievements and success criteria and utilise ongoing status reports to update key partners on project progress.
  • Develop and lead detailed project plans, including schedules, cost estimates, resource plans, communication plans, risk mitigation plans and issue resolution plans.
  • Evaluate trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, risk, and partner value, prioritising high impact objectives and activities.
  • Perform ongoing financial reviews, tracking and measuring financial performance and results against plan and validating financial forecasts and supports the project budget request process.
  • Ensures all projects align to LSEG Group Standards for project methodology, governance and risk management, representing projects in various governance forums.
  • Lead analysis and ensure all impacts of dependencies are addressed in the overall project plan. Effectively work across the organization to ensure all dependent teams are aligned with the project plans and schedules.
  • Deliver an effective governance structure to resolve any risks and issues which may impact successful Project Delivery.
  • Ability to proactively handle risk and issues for the workstream in a timely manner and have the confidence to make decisions to mitigate or resolve when required. Work closely with workstream lead to ensure RAIDS are fully detailed, mitigated and raised.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the roadmap and business performance and ensure that regular reporting is available and effective.

Key Skills:

  • Experience of working in a high-paced environment with a distributed structure.
  • A deep understanding of the financial services / banking / investment industry, with experience in market data.
  • A strong background in tech development would be beneficial due to the technical nature of the projects.
  • Validated experience in delivering large-scale technical programmes in a hands-on capacity.
  • Extensive partner management experience up to senior level.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills including the ability to establish relationships and communicate across all management and interpersonal levels.
  • Exposure to Commodities market data

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in business operations/planning and/or project management required
