We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in end-to-end testing of distributed, cloud-based systems.
Perform the full testing cycle: from requirement analysis to release verification
Estimate testing timelines and meet deadlines reliably
Analyze and test legacy systems with minimal or incomplete documentation
Identify, document, and manage bugs (including regression testing)
Analyze logs and localize defects at early stages of development
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders
Expand and improve test coverage, including for edge cases
Create and maintain structured test documentation to support automation
Configure and manage test environments using GitHub
Test and validate APIs using Postman, ensuring completeness of documentation
Work with RabbitMQ to validate message queues and microservice communication
Utilize AWS Console for testing, monitoring, and debugging in the cloud
Write and execute database queries for troubleshooting and validation
Use Grafana for system monitoring and performance diagnostics
Support early-morning releases and ensure smooth deployment
Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer, preferably in high-load or distributed systems
Proficiency in Web, Mobile, and Backend testing
Strong skills in debugging distributed systems and working with incomplete specs
Ability to analyze logs, trace issues, and identify root causes
Experience working in multi-project environments with CI/CD workflows
Hands-on expertise with Postman, RabbitMQ, AWS Console, Grafana, and GitHub
Solid database skills (querying and troubleshooting)
Experience with test management tools such as JIRA or Allure TestOPS
Understanding of microservice architecture and testing strategies for such systems
Bonus: familiarity with Playwright and basic JavaScript
Responsibility and ownership of test quality and timelines
Excellent English communication skills (B2 level or higher)
Resilience under pressure and ability to work independently
Proactive mindset with a structured and detail-oriented approach
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
Availability to work early hours (between 4–6 AM GMT+0) to support the Australian time zone
