Senior React Engineer with React Native

N-iX is seeking a Senior React Engineer to join a team working on a global marketplace for savings and investments. The role involves consolidating and stabilizing Investment and Pension products on the BIPS platform. The engineer will contribute to re-building pension products, focusing on new features, refactoring, bug fixing, and support within a cross-functional agile team. This position requires strong React and React Native expertise to build responsive, high-performance user interfaces and integrate with APIs.

Must Have

• 6+ years of strong React Expertise

Our customer is a global marketplace for savings and investments, providing savers with effortless access to high-yield savings accounts and investment options from over 400 partner banks worldwide. It eliminates geographic limitations, ensuring transparency, convenience, and competitive rates. For banks, it offers cost-efficient deposit funding and innovative Banking-as-a-Service solutions.

IPP Consolidation is one of the two agile teams in the Investment and Pension Products working on core initiatives to re-build the pension products on to the BIPS platform. Their mission is to consolidate and stabilise Investment and Pension products into a more effective stack, to strengthen and simplify our offerings.

Must-Have Skills & Technologies:

• 6+ years of strong React Expertise – Deep understanding of React, hooks, functional components, and performance optimization.
• Proficient with NextJS
• Experience in Static Site Generators
• Strong experience in React Native (2+ years)
• Testing Jest, React Testing Library, WCAG standards, ARIA roles
• JavaScript & TypeScript – Strong knowledge of ES6+ features and TypeScript for scalable applications.
• API Integration – Expertise in RESTful and GraphQL APIs, including error handling and caching.
• Performance Optimization – Experience in lazy loading, memoization, code splitting, and Webpack/Vite optimizations.
• CI/CD & Tooling – Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI for automated testing and deployments.
• Styling & Design Systems – Experience with CSS-in-JS (Styled Components, Emotion) or utility frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
• Accessibility & SEO – Knowledge of WCAG standards, ARIA roles, and SEO best practices.
