Job Description

Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety programs of contractors and the managing company, ensuring conformity with legal and client requirements, with a focus on zero lost-time accidents.
Must have:
  • Supervise compliance with Health and Safety management programs.
  • Promote meetings, consolidate information, and prepare SSO reports.
  • Coordinate mobilization, document verification, and work release.
  • Lead Safety and Environment Technicians, ensuring SSO supervision.
  • Conduct training and capacity building for managing company employees.
  • Implement actions to mitigate labor risks and liabilities.
  • Monitor SSO statistics and promote preventive actions.
  • Evaluate reports, investigate accidents, and ensure action plan compliance.
  • Develop and implement procedures for continuous health and safety improvement.

Job Details

Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety programs of contractors and the managing company, ensuring conformity with legal and client requirements, with a focus on zero lost-time accidents.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise compliance with the Health and Safety management programs of contractors and the managing company.
  • Promote meetings and follow-up routines, consolidate information, and prepare SSO reports.
  • Coordinate the mobilization process, document verification, and work release.
  • Lead the team of Safety and Environment Technicians, ensuring the supervision of SSO conditions in projects.
  • Conduct training and capacity building for the managing company's employees.
  • Implement actions to mitigate risks and labor liabilities.
  • Monitor SSO statistics and promote preventive actions.
  • Evaluate reports, investigate accidents, and ensure compliance with action plans.
  • Develop and implement procedures and programs for continuous improvement of health and safety conditions.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Production Engineering.
  • Post-graduate degree in Safety Engineering.
  • Proven experience in infrastructure projects, natural gas networks or large industrial works.
  • Experience with licensing and authorization processes.
  • Driver's license category B.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Knowledge in project management.
  • Desirable: Power BI proficiency, risk management, and intermediate English.
