Job Description

Nine is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join its Audio team. Reporting to the Group Business Manager, the role involves delivering market-leading solutions, ensuring superior service, and achieving results for designated agency and client groups. The executive will lead on the sales floor, build strong internal and external relationships, manage a pipeline of briefs, forecast revenue, identify new business opportunities, and maintain a deep understanding of Nine's products, especially digital capabilities.
Must have:

  • Accurately forecast revenue and identify new business opportunities
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Nine's products, especially our digital capabilities
  • Effectively educate clients and drive sales
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and senior agency contacts
  • Create market-leading solutions
  • Stay informed on media industry trends and the competitive landscape
  • Share key insights with internal teams
  • Support the Group Business Manager with tasks like weekly forecasting, business planning and revenue gap analysis (as needed)
  • Proven account management experience, preferably within audio or media
  • Demonstrated success in delivering revenue growth and accurate forecasting
  • Strong analytical skills to understand revenue trends and influence sales strategies
  • Demonstrated thought leadership, proactively contributing to the sales floor and beyond
  • Proven people management experience, including the successful onboarding and development of support staff into sales executives

Job Description

Nine is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join our Audio team! Reporting to the Group Business Manager, you will be responsible for delivering market-leading solutions while ensuring superior service and results for your designated agency and client group.

You will be a leader on the sales floor, establishing strong internal relationships and continuously developing and maintaining strong relationships with key agencies across all relevant functions and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a pipeline of briefs and proactive ideas to meet and exceed revenue targets, while also accurately forecasting revenue and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Nine's products, especially our digital capabilities, to effectively educate clients and drive sales.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and senior agency contacts to create market-leading solutions.
  • Stay informed on media industry trends and the competitive landscape, sharing key insights with internal teams.
  • As needed, support the Group Business Manager with tasks like weekly forecasting, business planning and revenue gap analysis.

Qualifications
