Job Summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Sales Executive for its fast-growing Cyber team in Helsinki, focusing on Managed Security Services. The role involves full ownership of the sales lifecycle, from pipeline creation to deal closure, driving growth by identifying and developing opportunities, and positioning cybersecurity as a business risk management solution. The executive will collaborate with technical and delivery teams, build client relationships, and contribute to process improvement initiatives, helping clients manage cyber risks and enhance their security operations.

Must Have

  • Have full ownership of the sales lifecycle from pipeline creation to deal closure
  • Drive growth of the pipeline by identifying, developing and closing opportunities
  • Qualify, shape and lead complex cyber security services deals
  • Build predictable, high-quality sales pipeline and forecasts
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and tactical sales plans
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery leadership to ensure deal quality
  • Support and follow up on proposal work, market materials, business promotional events
  • Participate in and support process improvement initiatives
  • Build and nurture client relationships, serving as a key advisor on Managed Security Services
  • Collaborate effectively to build and utilize productive relationships and networks internally
  • Strong experience in selling complex cyber security services
  • Solutioning and pricing expertise from large, complex deals
  • Experience managing complex client relationships and navigating long sales cycles of managed solutions/selling intangibles
  • Sound understanding of relevant technologies, the Managed Security Services marketplace
  • Ability to gain access and influence decision-makers at all levels in client organizations
  • Experience developing and executing strategic and tactical plans to close large, recurring revenue contracts
  • Ability to make complex analysis and communicate it in a concise and clear manner
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate the value of our services to different client audiences
  • Fluency in English and in Finnish, both oral and written
  • Willingness to travel mainly in the Nordics

We are now looking for a Senior Sales Executive for our Managed Security Services to join our fast-growing Cyber team in Helsinki.

Our professionals provide advisory, implementation and operation services that integrate business, risk, and technology skills to help clients transform their business risks into proactive cyber risk programs.

Managed Security Services focus on helping our clients understand their threat landscape - who might attack and why - and build detection and response capabilities to stay ahead of threats. Our services support organizations to proactively manage cyber incidents, respond and recover from cyber crises and resume operations more quickly, limiting damage to their business.

In Finland our team has been growing rapidly over the past few years and we are now looking for experienced professionals. We want you to join our international, multidisciplinary cyber team that consists of individuals who are regarded as top talent in their respective fields.

Job Description

Your role

As part of our Cyber team in this role, you will:

  • Have full ownership of the sales lifecycle from pipeline creation to deal closure
  • Drive growth of the pipeline by identifying, developing and closing opportunities while positioning cyber security as a business risk management solution, not a technical product
  • Qualify, shape and lead complex cyber security services deals, collaborating with practitioners and delivery teams to develop solutions that meet the customer's needs and business objectives while improve their current situation
  • Build predictable, high-quality sales pipeline and forecasts
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and tactical sales plans to generate demand and accelerate deal cycles for MSS services
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery leadership to ensure deal quality, to bring innovative offerings to your clients and apply understanding of disruptive trends and competitor activity to recommend changes, in line with leading practices
  • Support and follow up on proposal work, market materials, business promotional events and other market/business development activities to help grow the emerging demand of transforming Security Operations
  • Use your knowledge to participate in and support process improvement initiatives, further strengthening Deloitte’s role as trusted cybersecurity advisor
  • Build and nurture client relationships, serving as a key advisor on Managed Security Services
  • Collaborate effectively to build and utilize productive relationships and networks also internally within Deloitte

To succeed in this role, you must have curiosity, an open mind, and the attitude of a trusted advisor. The challenges our clients are facing are often complex, so we must be able to learn new concepts and find the relevant solutions quickly, leveraging our global network.

We are looking for a sales professional with entrepreneurial mindset, a track record of driving complex, outcome-focused sales preferably within Managed Security Services domain that thrives on winning business.

You have a deep understanding of MSS service models, and you would bring your contribution to business and service development activities and help us improve our managed security services offering.

To succeed, having most of these attributes will help you greatly:

  • Strong experience in selling complex cyber security services , as well as solutioning and pricing expertise from large, complex deals
  • Experience managing complex client relationships and navigating long sales cycles of managed solutions/selling intangibles
  • Sound understanding of relevant technologies, the Managed Security Services marketplace, including trends, competitive landscape, and client challenges
  • An ability to gain access and influence decision-makers at all levels in client organizations
  • Experience developing and executing strategic and tactical plans to close large, recurring revenue contracts
  • Flexibility and excellent time management skills, the ability to handle, execute and move forward several things in parallel
  • Ability to make complex analysis and communicate it in a concise and clear manner, appropriately tailored to people from a very wide range of cultures, technical backgrounds and seniorities
  • Effective interpersonal skills and experience of developing lasting client relationships paired with excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate the value of our services to different client audiences
  • Fluency in English and in Finnish, both oral and written as you will be operating with both
  • Willingness to travel mainly in the Nordics
