Job Summary
Anduril's Security Engineering team seeks a Senior Security Engineer to build world-class defensive controls for advanced defense technology products. This role involves designing and implementing security architecture across cloud, production, and corporate infrastructure, developing tools for security posture improvement, conducting architecture reviews, and automating detection and remediation of security issues. The engineer will work across infrastructure, application, and operational security domains to protect Anduril's global network.
Must Have
- Strong programming ability in one or more general purpose languages (Python, Go, Rust, etc)
- Experience with one or more infrastructure as code languages (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK) in a production capacity
- Experience conducting security architecture or design reviews around custom business applications
- Solid understanding of modern attack vectors and defensive mitigation strategies
- Experience working with cloud platforms and deploying applications through CI/CD pipelines
- Experience developing and implementing defensive controls around endpoint and SaaS applications
- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of projects, and collaborate across teams
- Have participated in or supported incident response events
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
Good to Have
- Experience building bespoke solutions in high-growth and high-complexity environments
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security ecosystem and tooling
- Experience with log aggregation, secrets management, or endpoint security tools
- Strong experience with Linux operating systems
