Job Description

As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building cutting-edge, client-facing financial SaaS applications. Your work will directly impact billions of dollars in business decisions within the Institutional Investing marketplace. This full-stack engineering role utilizes modern technologies such as Vue.js, .Net Core, MS SQL Server, AWS, and Terraform. You will be part of an Agile Scrum team, contributing to both backend and frontend development, writing quality code in C#, .Net, .Net Core, Vue.js, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and Terraform. Responsibilities include working with cloud platforms, building microservices, managing infrastructure with Terraform, and leveraging automation for the software development lifecycle. You will also review code, adhere to coding standards, provide feedback to team members, and assist in troubleshooting.
Must have:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • 4-5 years of web development experience
  • Experience with server-side languages (e.g., C#, Java)
  • Experience with front-end Javascript frameworks (e.g., Vue, Angular, React)
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with development tools (e.g., version control, Visual Studio)
Good to have:
  • Experience with AI applications
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
  • Knowledge of NoSQL data stores (e.g., Elasticsearch)
  • Experience with microservices design & development
  • Knowledge of container technologies (e.g., Docker)
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tooling (e.g., Jenkins)

Job Details

On our team, you'll be working on a cutting edge, client-facing financial SaaS application. The tools we build sit at the center of the Institutional
Investing marketplace, and your work enables consultants and investors to confidently make business decisions worth billions of dollars.
You'll be working as a full-stack engineer with cutting-edge tools and frameworks like Vue.js, Net Core, MS SQL Server, AWS, and
Terraform, in an Agile Scrum process on a team of 4-5 rock star developers.

  • Design and build scalable, secure, and high performing software solutions.  This includes both backend and frontend development
  • Write quality production-ready code using C#, .Net, .Net Core, Vue.js, MSSQL, PostreSQL, and Terraform
  • Work with cloud platforms like AWS and build microservices and manage infrastructure using Terraform
  • Work with a team that leverages automation to streamline the software development lifecycle. This includes automating the build, test, and deployment processes to ensure that code changes are integrated and delivered quickly and reliably.
  • Review code quality, adhere to coding standards, and align with project requirements.
  • Provide constructive feedback to team members on their code, suggest improvements and best practices.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and debugging issues in the development and production environments

We expect you to have

  • A degree qualified in a discipline related to Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.•
  • At least 4-5 years experience in web development.•
  • Experience in one or more server-side programming languages, such as C#, Java, or similar.•
  • Experience in one or more modern front-end Javascript frameworks, such as Vue, Angular, React, or similar.•
  • Experience using relational database engines, such as SQL Server, MySql, PostgreSQL, or similar.•
  • Experience using common software development tools and technologies, such as version control, Visual Studio, etc.•

 
It would be great if you have

  • Experience or knowledge in building applications leveraging AI.
  • Experience or knowledge of cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure.•
  • Experience or knowledge of no-SQdata stores, such as Elasticsearch.•
  • Experience or knowledge of microservices design & development.•
  • Experience or knowledge of container technologies, such as Docker.•
  • Experience or knowledge of devops practice and tooling, such as Jenkins.
