Job Description
- Experience with ASP.NET, MVC and Bootstrap framework.
- Experience in developing performance critical transaction processing applications.
- Asynchronous messaging experience.
- Experience in developing a service-oriented architecture.
- Experience writing simulators and test harnesses.
- Cloud computing hands-on experience, preferably on Azure.
- Coordinate and develop project concepts, objectives, specifications and resource needs.
- Prepare design specifications, analyses and recommendations.
- Use current programming language and technologies to provide creative, thorough and practical solutions.
- Design, develop and test applications and programs to support the company’s products.
- Design, develop and test software programs following established quality standards and engineering procedures.
- Complete high- and low-level detailed software design specifications, storyboards and interface specifications.
- Provide support of products through conception to product delivery including problem solving, defect maintenance and customer service support.
- Prepare reports, manuals, procedures and status reports.
- Four-year college degree in computer science, computer engineering or related technical discipline.
- 6+ years related experience.
- Experience with, and understanding of, the software development life-cycle.
- Proficient in C# .NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server (table design, stored procedures, query optimization).
- Proficient in Service Broker, PowerShell, server-side development.
- Experience using log4net, Entity Framework, MS Build, RESTful APIs, NUnit, NMock3.
- Experience with Web Services: HTTP, TCP/IP, SSL, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON.
- Experience in developing multi-threaded applications, SW Design Patterns, Unit Test framework, OOPs.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in Windows service generating keys / HSM / Cryptographic protocols.

The Role:
The Senior Software Engineer performs complex software engineering assignments following designated standards and procedures. This role provides technical guidance and leadership, to junior members of the team. As part of a greater team, the Senior Software Engineer works closely with other engineering disciplines both locally and internationally.
Role Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and develops project concepts, objectives, specifications and resource needs. Prepares design specifications, analyses and recommendations.
- Use current programming language and technologies to provide creative, thorough and practical solutions to a wide range of technical problems
- Design develop and test applications and programs to support the company’s products
- Design develop and test software programs following established quality standards and in accordance with internal engineering procedures including coding, unit testing and software configuration control
- Complete high- and low-level detailed software design specifications, storyboards and interface specifications
- Provide support of products through conception to product delivery including problem solving, defect maintenance and support to customer services
- Prepare reports, manuals, procedures and status reports
Role Requirements:
Four-year college degree in computer science, computer engineering or other related technical discipline.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- 6+ years related experience.
- Experience with, and understanding of, the software development life-cycle
- Proficient C# .NET, Visual Studio,,SQL Server experience (table design, stored procedures, query optimization etc).
- Proficient Service Broker, Powers hell,server-side development experience (not just GUIs or Web).
- Experience using: log4net,Entity Framework,MS Build,RESTful APIs,NUnit, NMock3
- Web Services - HTTP, TCP/IP and SSL. REST, SOAP, XML and JSON.
- Experience in developing multi-threaded applications (more than just async calls from a GUI), SW Design Patterns, Unit Test framework, OOPs.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience in windows service generating keys / HSM / Cryptographic protocols
Desirable skills:
