General Duties and Responsibilities:
Logistics & Warehousing Operations
- Lead and manage logistics functions including warehouse spares planning, inventory control, purchases for warehouse requirement, scheduling of delivery services (excluding depot-level activities).
- Monitor performance metrics such as on-time delivery; identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain order policies for inventory forecasting and asset planning in accordance with contract requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of orders to meet schedule and performance targets in maintenance contracts.
- Review surplus, obsolete, and scrap inventory for appropriate disposition.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and logistics operations to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other department heads to optimize manpower planning and resource allocation, ensuring support for key activities (e.g., the operations support group for the various operations support coordination as well as for audit.
- Foster a workplace culture that emphasizes innovation, employee engagement, and retention.
Obsolescence & Subcontractor Management
- Provide strong support in tracking and maintaining asset obsolescence and serviceability data, including turnaround time (TAT), response time, and repair metrics.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of monthly progress reports and six-monthly performance reviews to the Authority and internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with the team responsible for subcontractor management to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards and support the tracking of warranty claims and related documentation.
- Participate in the evaluation and recommendation of preventive measures and system upgrades (warehouse level) to enhance equipment serviceability and reliability.
- Support the assessment and documentation process for the condemnation of equipment, parts, or consumables in line with obsolescence planning.
- Collaborate and participate in Obsolescence Management Reports submitted to HQ, DSTA, and the User.
Quality Management System
- Support the establishment, documentation, and maintenance of a Quality Management System in compliance with ISO certification and customer contract requirements.
- Align with Cubic Global and Regional Quality teams and assist in local implementation for Singapore operations, including OMSS, Range, ALFRE and ASW programs.
- Coordinate training for logistics staff involved in ISO-related processes to ensure compliance readiness.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Compliance with Cubic’s Quality Management System
- Compliance with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures
- Compliance with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the Organization and/or the Authority.
- Compliance on 5S policy and conduct monthly check on all warehouses.
- Oversee the One Stop service.
- Oversees the inspection for overseas support, including the local DAWR inspection for Australia support
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics/warehousing, preferably in a defense, engineering, or government contracting environment.
- Proven experience in managing spares planning, inventory, and procurement in a contract-driven setting.
- Familiarity with ISO, quality systems and audit processes.
- Experience in managing subcontractor performance and obsolescence planning is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
- Proficient in logistics/ERP systems and Microsoft office suite.

Condition of Employment:
- Must clear and maintain security clearance
- Completion of National Service (where applicable) is required
- Must be able to work odd hours &/in accordance with contractual requirements and in remote areas.
