Job Description

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with C# experience to join their Artificial Intelligence Services (AIS) group. This role involves analyzing, developing, designing, and maintaining software for products and systems, performing system integration, and developing documentation. The engineer will leverage machine learning capabilities to enhance customer responses and outcomes. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of software development experience with C# and Python, experience with chatbot technologies, expert knowledge of software design best practices, and strong experience with containerized and serverless solutions on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with global teams.
Must have:
  • 7+ years of software development experience with C# and Python
  • Experience with chatbot technologies (AWS LexBot, GCP Dialogflow, Voiceflow)
  • Expert knowledge of software design and development lifecycle best practices
  • Strong experience with containerized solutions (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong experience with serverless infrastructure (e.g. AWS Lambda)
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning operations lifecycle
  • Familiarity working with LLMs
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering

Job Description

Analyzes, develops, designs, and maintains software for the organization’s products and systems. Performs system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency. Develops, validates, and tests: structures and user documentation.


Basic Requirements

  • 7+ years of software development experience, working with C# and Python.
  • Experience leveraging chatbot technologies and conversational design. e.g. AWS LexBot, GCP Dialogflow, Voiceflow, etc.
  • Expert knowledge of software design and best practices for full development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing methodology, security, and audit/monitoring requirements.
  • Strong experience developing for containerized solutions (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless infrastructure (e.g. AWS Lambda).
  • Experience working with cloud-based solutions and configuration: Azure, AWS, GCP.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to collaborate in a multinational environment with teams spanning the globe.

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with Machine Learning operations lifecycle. 
  • Familiarity working with LLMs (large language models).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
