The Evidence and Devices Engineering team at Motorola Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join their evidence management team in Edinburgh, Scotland. This full-time role involves designing, implementing, debugging, and maintaining embedded software in C, C++, and Rust for body cameras, vehicle cameras, and evidence management software. The successful candidate will contribute to the team's success and foster a positive culture, taking ownership of features and continuously developing professionally.
Good To Have:
  • Previous working experience on Embedded Systems
  • Familiarity with Linux-based environments
  • Interest to learn and grow your skillset on Embedded Linux, Microcontrollers, Electronics
Must Have:
  • Designing and implementing Embedded Software in C, C++, Rust
  • Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise
  • Learning and maintaining an existing code base
  • Taking ownership of the feature in development
  • Ensuring continuous professional self-development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, Electrical or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Embedded software development, testing and debugging software issues

We are a thriving and growing company in search of a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our evidence management team at our Edinburgh, Scotland site. This is a full-time role where you will play a crucial part in the development and growth of our software engineering projects. We are seeking a talented and proactive individual who can contribute to our team’s success and foster a positive culture within the company.

Please note that this role is based in the Edinburgh Office. The successful candidate must have already graduated.
