Job Summary
Marvell's semiconductor solutions are crucial for global data infrastructure. The Failure Analysis team manages the entire FA process for customer returns and internal support, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. This role involves leading root cause investigations, managing external FA labs, interfacing with customers, and generating 8D reports to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Must Have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, science or related technical field
- 10 years of experience with strong failure analysis background
- Extensive experience working with 3rd party physical FA lab
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Responsible for both customer returns and internal failure analysis
- Manage cross functional teams for root cause investigations and fault isolation
- Effectively manage external physical FA labs to deliver PFA results to meet Marvell's quality and TAT expectations
- Interface with customers and generate 8D reports for customer closure
- Ensure internal partners are fully aware of the thoroughness of an FA and the expected Turn Around Time (TAT)

- Experience with circuit design, IC fabrication, assembly and product testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Extensive Physical Failure knowledge required to drive physical root cause analysis
- Experience in reviewing design and package layout
- Proficiency in 8D Problem Solving process and tools
- Strong leadership skills, demonstrated ability to effectively work with cross-function teams and external vendors
