This individual leads the team to improve engineering efficiency, product quality and responsibility of the This individual leads the team to improve engineering efficiency, product quality and responsibility of providing support by planning, creating, managing, and optimizing processes and operations to facilitate completion of goals and objectives in an efficient and effective way. Identifies and pursues opportunities for improvement, automation, and efficiencies. Collects information and conducts analyses to support decision making, resolve issues, and manage risks. Works closely with other groups (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, finance, facilities) to ensure project elements (e.g., process flow, capacity, materials, and cost) are managed and optimized. Work with Quality Engineering team to improve systems to identify and track quality issues. Lead multi-functional engineering and IT teams to improve processes and systems. Understand how technology can improve engineering processes. Acts as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings and communicates and implements a development plan.
Will accept a Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Management Information systems or related degree field and seven (7) years of experience in a related occupation. Will also accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Management Information Systems or related degree field and nine (9) years of progressive experience in a related occupation. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
Telecommuting may be permitted.
Pay Range: $137,600.00 - $206,400.00
