Tencent Cloud is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Strategic Sales Manager who would be based in Paris/London/Frankfurt. The chosen candidate will be tasked with creating and handling Tencent Cloud's most significant and strategic gaming accounts in Europe. Through a strategic approach, this individual will establish sales priorities and action plans, deliver/surpass cloud sales goals, and cultivate valuable relationships with key stakeholders of target studios or publishers in Europe. This individual will play a crucial role in driving Cloud revenue growth in the gaming industry in Europe, attracting new large strategic accounts (Top 100 gaming studios), and negotiating and managing large contracts.
  • Utilize networking and prospecting skills to generate leads and identify strategic solution-based sales opportunities

  • Develop and manage high-value relationships with key stakeholders

  • Provide leadership and guidance to other team members on large gaming accounts and participate in providing input on sales and marketing collateral

  • Partner with the Legal/FIN/Tax teams on contract negotiations

  • Achieve/exceed sales goals, sustain revenue growth and provide recommendations to enhance account growth and revenue potential

  • Preparation and execution of strategic account plans, status reports, sales and revenue forecasting and quota attainment

  • Be an expert on Tencent’s cloud gaming offerings, working to understand customers' needs and providing service solutions

  • Develop strategic plans based on industry trending and customer analysis

  • Accountable and instrumental in increasing high-profile cloud platform contracts

  • Work closely with the Solutions Engineer team in delivering and ensuring customers are gaining high value from their investments

  • Manage sales life-cycle for all accounts

Requirements:

Requirements:

  • 5+ years B2B sales experience in the gaming industry

  • Possesses a strong sensibility for gaming technology, especially the infra or back-end layer of the game development

  • Experience selling at C-level

  • Exhibits a “hunter” mentality and possesses an outstanding ability to close sales

  • Proven record and strong capability to generate leads, pursue opportunities and sell

  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with customer and staff at all levels

  • Ability to solve customer-related problems in a positive manner

  • Strong in consultative and insight-based selling

  • Experience articulating complex solutions to decision-makers and executives

  • Proven ability to grow revenue and manage accounts

  • Experience analyzing data, trends and the market to develop key selling points
