At Motorola Solutions, we are a global community dedicated to public safety and enterprise security through critical communications, video security, and command center technologies. We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer with a system focus to define and own the end-to-end system test strategy, design and implement robust test automation frameworks, oversee test execution, perform complex system testing, drive process improvements, and manage defects within an Agile environment.

Must Have:

Define and own the end-to-end system test strategy.
Design, architect, and implement robust, maintainable, and scalable test automation frameworks.
Oversee the execution of automated test suites and analyze results.
Perform complex system integration, load, performance, and security testing.
Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tooling, and test methodology.
Investigate, reproduce, and accurately document complex defects.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Test Engineering, with at least 2 years focused on test automation framework development and system-level testing.
Expert proficiency in at least one modern programming language for automation (Python, Java, C#).
Extensive experience with industry-standard automation tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, Postman/REST-assured).
Deep understanding of microservices architecture, networking protocols, or cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into continuous integration/delivery pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies and testing within a sprint cycle.
Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation and strong experience with API testing (REST/SOAP).
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Job Description

Test Strategy: Define and own the end-to-end system test strategy, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across all layers of the application (UI, API, and Database).
Automation Framework Development: Design, architect, and implement robust, maintainable, and scalable test automation frameworks using [Primary Language, e.g., Python, Java] and tools like [e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or specific system tools].
Execution & Reporting: Oversee the execution of automated test suites within the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins/GitLab CI) and analyze results to identify system-level failures, performance bottlenecks, and regressions.
System Testing: Perform complex system integration, load, performance, and security testing to validate non-functional requirements.
Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tooling, and test methodology, promoting a shift-left testing culture.
Defect Management: Investigate, reproduce, and accurately document complex defects using [e.g., JIRA] and verify fixes.

Basic Requirements
