Senior UI and Full-Stack Software Engineer - Special Projects

As an engineer in Apple's Special Projects group, you will build UI and visual tooling for model evaluation, testing, and validation, supporting integrations across robotics, generative AI, and data analysis. This role involves working on ambitious, high-impact projects in early development stages, with a strong focus on intuitive tooling and innovative user experiences. You will be expected to quickly prototype and iterate to high-quality implementations, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Must Have

• Build intuitive and delightful web UI using React.js
• Develop reusable components and libraries for long-term scalability
• Integrate RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX wireframes and prototypes
• Implement full-stack applications to accelerate model evaluation, testing, and validation
• Integrate with various models to scale up and improve capabilities of systems that employ ML

• As a member of this team, you will use your background to build any subset of the following (but not be limited to):
• Build intuitive and delightful web UI using React.js.
• Develop reusable components and libraries for long-term scalability. Integrate RESTful APIs.

• React.js and/or other web development frameworks.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Strong and proven software development skills.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Passion for software system architecture, API design, and developer experience.
• Excellent team collaboration skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
