Java Full Stack Developer

HOLOGATE is seeking a highly motivated Java Full Stack Developer to join their development team. This role involves building and evolving applications, backends, and middleware for immersive VR systems and customer experiences. Responsibilities include developing customer-facing frontends, robust backends, administrative tools, and taking ownership of legacy codebases. The developer will ensure scalable, reliable applications across multiple Java versions and frameworks, build user-centric interfaces using modern frontend technologies, and focus on data management, troubleshooting, database optimization, and system integration with a strong emphasis on data security.

Must Have

• Contribute as a key developer to platform application ecosystem (frontends, backends, middleware APIs).
• Develop administrative backends for VR systems.
• Take ownership of legacy codebases: implement new features, refactor, improve performance, fix bugs, and enhance documentation.
• Develop and maintain scalable, reliable applications across multiple Java versions and frameworks.
• Build responsive, modern, and user-centric interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
• Modernize and optimize existing UIs while ensuring backward compatibility.
• Leverage strong data management and troubleshooting skills to improve system performance.
• Implement database optimization strategies.
• Ensure seamless system integration with a strong focus on data security and best practices.
• 5+ years of proven experience in full stack development, including enhancement and modernization of legacy systems.
• Strong proficiency in Java (multiple versions and frameworks), JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, and modern frontend technologies.
• Experience working with relational databases, including data modeling, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Native-level German skills required.

• Experience working with relational databases, including data modeling, optimization, and performance tuning
