Senior UI Artist, Angry Birds Match World

Rovio is seeking a collaborative Senior UI Artist for the Angry Birds Match World team for a 12-month fixed term. The role involves crafting delightful user experiences, creating stunning UIs for live content, nurturing visual UI style, and building UI assets using 2D and 3D workflows with a focus on 3D artistry. The artist will also leverage Unity expertise for asset implementation, optimization, and creating smooth UI animations and VFX.

Must Have

• Collaborate with UX designers, programmers, and artists.
• Create stunning, cohesive UIs for live content, events, features, and offers.
• Nurture visual UI style and best practices for the game.
• Build UI assets using 2D and 3D workflows, emphasizing 3D artistry.
• Utilize Unity expertise for asset import, setup, and optimization.
• Create smooth UI animations with Unity Timeline and Spine, plus UI VFX.
• Around 5 years in game art production.
• At least 2 years in UI art for casual mobile games.
• Proficiency in Unity art tools (shader graph, atlases, optimize, timeline).
• Strong art fundamentals: color, shape language, composition.
• Portfolio demonstrating quality 3D assets.
• Collaborative team-player, fluent in English.
• Empathetic design approach from player's perspective.
