Job Description

As a Sensing Hardware Validation Engineer, you will be in charge of characterizing, integrating, and validating capacitive touch sensors for new product applications, from their initial conception through the product release phase. You will work in a cross-functional environment, partnering with design, test, firmware, system engineering, and product operations teams. Your responsibilities will involve defining key performance indicators for sensor module and system-level testing. Additionally, you will develop test scripts for hardware validation and factory testing, lead infrastructure and automation efforts for hardware testing, design and develop hardware architectures for novel sensor test setups, conduct hands-on bench measurements for validation and troubleshooting, and perform failure analysis to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. You will also evaluate new technologies and methods for enhancing sensor testing and document specifications for design, testing, and failure analysis (FA) processes. Expect some business travel, up to 10%, to support product development and testing.
