Job Description

We’re looking for a hands-on, insight-driven SEO Lead with a deep understanding of both on-page and technical SEO to elevate the organic presence of our clients' brands. You’ll be at the forefront of search strategy in a fast-paced, creative advertising agency—combining performance data, UX design thinking, and SEO-savvy content to drive measurable impact. The ideal candidate will also have strong writing skills and be capable of crafting SEO- and SEM-optimized content, including metadata, ad copy, and long-form content. You’ll lead and guide a multidisciplinary team—including a UI/UX Designer and an SEO/SEM Writer—ensuring all touchpoints of the digital experience are optimized for discoverability, speed, structure, and engagement.
Must have:
  • Own and execute SEO strategies that prioritize on-page optimization (meta structure, internal linking, content hierarchy) and technical SEO (crawlability, site speed, structured data, mobile responsiveness).
  • Identify and resolve technical issues (indexing, redirects, site architecture, etc.) to maintain SEO health.
  • Monitor performance through analytics platforms and translate data into strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with content, design, and development teams to implement best-in-class SEO practices across the board.
  • Lead and mentor the SEO/SEM Writer in executing high-performing, search-optimized content.
  • Guide the UI/UX Designer in improving user journeys, ensuring mobile-first design, accessibility, and SEO-aligned structures.
  • Align team workflows around SEO goals, proactively identifying opportunities for training, improvement, or testing.
  • Act as the SEO subject-matter expert in both internal and client-facing conversations.
  • Work closely with creative, brand, and media teams to ensure SEO strategy is aligned with campaign objectives and platform requirements.
  • Define and track KPIs, present performance reports, and recommend iterative improvements.

  • Write or edit content that is both SEO- and SEM-optimized, including landing pages, ad copy, meta descriptions, and long-form articles.
  • Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies.
  • Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical.

About the role:

You’ll lead and guide a multidisciplinary team—including a UI/UX Designer and an SEO/SEM Writer—ensuring all touchpoints of the digital experience are optimized for discoverability, speed, structure, and engagement.

What you will be doing:

Strategic SEO Leadership

  • Own and execute SEO strategies that prioritize on-page optimization (meta structure, internal linking, content hierarchy) and technical SEO (crawlability, site speed, structured data, mobile responsiveness).

Client and Cross-Team Collaboration

What you will need to be great in this role:

  • 5+ years of SEO experience, with a strong track record in both on-page and technical SEO.
  • Proficient in tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and site auditing platforms.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics as they relate to SEO performance.
  • Working knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), tagging structures, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Experience working in collaboration with UI/UX, development, and content teams.
  • Client-facing communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights into actionable business solutions.
  • Experience in SEO for FMCG, healthcare, or e-commerce brands.
  • Familiarity with CRO tools and A/B testing.
  • Exposure to AI-powered SEO tools or automation platforms.
  • Knowledge of UX testing tools like Hotjar or Crazy Egg.
