Job Description

Pay rate $23.50 with shift premiums of $0.50 for hours worked 4pm-midnight and $1.00 for hours worked midnight-8am.

Longevity premium of $0.25 after one year of service. Attendance Premium of $0.25.

Essential Job Duties:

• Assign duties to Dock personnel as needed to complete shipments.
• Review order with the Billing Department for accuracy.
• Utilize WMS and SAP computer systems in the order fulfillment process.
• Meet departure deadlines for scheduled shipments and routes.
• Report to Supervisor any issues or concerns encountered and update on order fulfillment.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and assist other plant personnel in various areas of the plant as needed.
• Maintain and improve quality and food safety to ensure compliance with Company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Currently an active Dock Worker within a minimum of one-year experience on the Dock.
• Report regularly and on time to work as well as work all required hours, including overtime and weekends as scheduled.
• Understand and follow established rules and procedures as well as accept constructive feedback.
• Work safely and set an example of good working safe habits.
• Follow established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all Food Safety procedures.
• Must be self-motivated and be able to work in a very cold environment.
• Must have the ability to obtain forklift, pallet jack, and yard goat certification.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing between 50 to 80 pounds repeatedly.
• Must be willing and able to work various shifts, overtime, and none standard work hours.
• Stand on concrete floor, grating, or metal stand for prolonged periods.
• Must have demonstrated history of dependability, particularly with regard to safety and attendance.
