The Site Reliability Engineer will design, maintain, and improve observability systems, troubleshoot monitoring issues, define SLIs/SLOs, and automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Helm. This role involves optimizing CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with various engineering teams to ensure platform reliability and performance. Must have:
  • Design, maintain, and improve observability systems, including alerts, dashboards, service discovery, and metrics pipelines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve monitoring-related issues such as missing data, false alerts, and broken dashboards
  • Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, and alerting strategies to support proactive incident detection and response
  • Automate observability infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes Operators, following Infrastructure-as-Code best practices
  • Optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, ArgoCD) and integrate observability checks into deployment workflows
  • Empower product teams to adopt proactive incident prevention strategies, shifting focus from reactive resolution
  • Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to align observability with platform reliability, performance, and compliance goals
Good to have:
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Helm
  • Practical understanding of SLIs/SLOs and incident alerting strategies (e.g., using Alertmanager or similar)
  • Ability to analyze and debug production issues using logs, metrics, traces, and observability dashboards

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Design, maintain, and improve observability systems, including alerts, dashboards, service discovery, and metrics pipelines;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve monitoring-related issues such as missing data, false alerts, and broken dashboards;
  • Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, and alerting strategies to support proactive incident detection and response;
  • Automate observability infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes Operators, following Infrastructure-as-Code best practices;

ABOUT YOU:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with monitoring and observability systems in production environments (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic cloud, Sentry, New Relic);
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker, with proven experience deploying and maintaining services in containerized infrastructure;
  • Experience with scripting and automation using Shell, Python and/or Node.js, including Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm);
  • Solid understanding of AWS service and core networking concepts (DNS, ports, protocols);
  • Proficiency in Git and modern version control workflows;
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex monitoring issues, including metric collection, alerting logic, trace data, and dashboard integrity;
  • Clear and calm communication skills, especially during incidents or when working with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Security, Engineering).

WOULD BE A PLUS:
