Job Description
Type: Part-time (10–20 hours/week)
Duration: ~6 months
Key Responsibilities
- Restaurant Partner Recruitment & Support
- Pitch reusable packaging pilot to restaurants and sign them onto the program.
- Provide onboarding support: demonstrate sample inventory, train on packaging portal.
- Assist with in-app and on-site marketing & signage.
- Community & Consumer Engagement
- Distribute handouts and marketing material to raise awareness.
- Engage with local consumers and community groups (e.g., farmers markets, beach cleanups).
- Program Monitoring & Logistics
- Monitor return bins: check signage, placement, and proper usage.
- Provide feedback/recommendations for bin modifications.
- From January onward: drive weekly routes to collect containers from participating consumers.
Requirements
- Located within driving distance of Half Moon Bay.
- Availability: 10–20 hours per week for ~6 months.
- 2–5 years of experience in sales, customer service, and/or marketing.
- Experience with pilots, community engagement, or grassroots campaigns.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging restaurant owners and local consumers.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 20+ lbs.
- Preferred: Familiarity with circular economies and sustainability initiatives.
