Job Summary

The SneakyBox Academy 2026 offers students an Unreal Engine internship starting February 2nd, designed to enhance game development skills. Must Have

Job Description

Starting February 2nd, we invite students to join the SneakyBox Academy — a program designed to strengthen and elevate your Unreal Engine skills. This is a unique opportunity to step into the world of game development and learn directly from some of our most talented engineers.

The internship offers an excellent chance to get to know our studio from the inside and, who knows — it might even become the beginning of a long-term journey with SneakyBox.

To apply, you will need to complete the task listed below and submit it together with your application. If you already have Unreal Engine projects, simply attach your existing repository.

Applications are open until January 11th, 2026.Selected candidates will be notified by January 14th, and the program officially begins on February 2nd.

Task

Additional Tasks After Completing the Tutorial

1. Health Pickups

1. Add health pickups that occasionally spawn throughout the game level.

2. You may find suitable models online or simply use a red box as a placeholder.

2. Level Completion Timer

1. Implement a timer that tracks how long it takes the player to finish the level.

3. (Bonus points / optional) Wave/Round System

1. Create a system with increasing enemy waves:

  • 10 humans vs. the gorilla
  • 25 humans
  • 50 humans
  • 100 humans

2. After each round:

  • the player’s health is fully restored,
  • the level restarts,
  • more enemies spawn.

Important Note

At 1:12:50 in the tutorial, the creator uses a paid blood VFX particle system. You may skip this part. However, if you find a suitable blood texture and create your own particle effect using this short 5-minute guide. It will be considered a significant plus.
