Description

Position at Ness USA, Inc.

Snowflake Solution Architect
We are looking for a seasoned Snowflake Solution Architect who brings deep technical expertise and a consultative mindset. This role is for someone who’s been in the trenches — designing and implementing scalable data architectures, leading complex migrations from legacy environments, and serving as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients.
You’ll play a key role in shaping modern data platforms using Databricks and its broader ecosystem, helping clients unlock the full potential of their data investments.
What You’ll Be Doing
We’re looking for a seasoned Snowflake Solution Architect to lead the charge in helping clients modernize their data ecosystems. This role isn’t just about writing SQL or setting up warehouses — it’s about reimagining data architectures, solving real business problems, and enabling meaningful outcomes through Snowflake's cloud-native capabilities.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of modern cloud data platforms using Snowflake
  • Spearhead migrations from legacy data environments (on-prem databases, Hadoop, traditional ETL) to Snowflake
  • Build high-performance, scalable data pipelines and warehouse models optimized for analytics, reporting, and advanced workloads
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define solution blueprints and deliver measurable value
  • Integrate Snowflake with a broader tech ecosystem — ingestion tools, orchestration frameworks, BI platforms, and data governance tools
  • Implement and promote Snowflake best practices around security, data sharing, performance tuning, and cost optimization
  • Support RFPs, build solution architecture decks, and define implementation roadmaps for client engagements
  • Contribute to accelerator and framework development, including partner-aligned GTM initiatives with Snowflake and others
  • Coach and mentor junior architects and engineers across global delivery teams
  • Be the voice of thought leadership — internally and externally — for modern cloud data platforms
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who’s technically hands-on, business-savvy, and thrives in fast-paced, client-driven environments:
  • 20+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or analytics
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing Snowflake solutions in large-scale enterprise settings
  • Snowflake certification (Architect, Advanced, or equivalent practical expertise)
  • Strong understanding of ELT/ETL design, SQL optimization, and dimensional modeling
  • Experience with data ingestion tools like Fivetran, Matillion, or Informatica; and orchestration with Airflow, dbt, or similar
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, role-based access control (RBAC), and compliance frameworks
  • Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work seamlessly across distributed global teams (onshore, offshore, nearshore
Nice to Have:
  • Exposure to AI/ML integrations within Snowflake
  • Prior experience in consulting or professional services environments
Benefits for all our employees:
  • Access to trainings, conferences, and certifications for self-development
  • Skilled and team player colleagues
  • Increased vacation days based on tenure in Ness and Floating holidays
  • Medical insurance
  • Attractive compensation scheme and referral bonuses
