The Social Media Manager will own the company's organic content strategy, execution, and community engagement across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube. This role involves creating platform-native content, nurturing brand ambassadors, and building a thriving community to support marketing efforts. Responsibilities include developing content calendars, producing engaging video and visual content, responding to community interactions, managing UGC and ambassador programs, spotting trends, and collaborating with design and performance teams. Success metrics involve doubling audience and engagement, building a UGC pipeline, establishing brand leadership, scaling an ambassador program, and delivering creative assets that drive growth. The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years of social media experience, exceptional storytelling and content creation skills, deep platform understanding, and proficiency with relevant tools.

The Role:
As Social Media Manager, you will take full ownership of the company’s organic content strategy, daily execution, and community engagement across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, and emerging platforms. You will craft platform-native content, nurture brand ambassadors, and build a thriving community that strengthens organic and paid marketing efforts. This role involves close collaboration with Marketing, Design, Performance, and Content teams to bring the brand story to life, driving engagement, virality, and trust at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Creation

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive, platform-specific content calendar.

  • Plan, create, and publish engaging video, reels, carousels, stories, polls, and UGC-based content.

  • Translate scientific concepts into visually appealing, emotionally resonant storytelling.

  • Maintain and evolve a brand voice that is empowering, science-backed, and accessible.

Community Management

  • Lead daily engagement across Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, Trustpilot, and other platforms.

  • Respond to comments, DMs, and community questions to foster a supportive and loyal community.

UGC & Ambassador Program

  • Build and manage relationships with micro-influencers, early adopters, customers, and brand advocates.

  • Source, curate, and repurpose UGC to amplify authenticity and social proof.

  • Collaborate with the paid marketing team to adapt UGC for ads.

Trendspotting & Experimentation

  • Monitor cultural trends, social conversations, algorithm updates, and competitor activity.

  • Test new content formats, themes, and creative approaches to drive virality and audience growth.

Collaboration & Creative Briefing

  • Work closely with Designers and Editors to brief assets aligned with campaigns.

  • Share performance insights to refine content strategies.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Define and track KPIs including audience growth, engagement, video views, and UGC volume.

  • Provide actionable insights to leadership to inform ongoing strategy.

What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months):

  • Double the social media audience and community engagement rates.

  • Build a consistent, high-performing UGC pipeline.

  • Establish the brand as a leading voice in hair health, confidence, and wearable technology.

  • Launch and scale an ambassador program for greater organic reach.

  • Deliver creative assets that drive both organic and paid growth.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 3–5+ years of experience managing social media, content, or community for DTC, wellness, beauty, or health brands.

  • Exceptional copywriting, storytelling, and visual content creation skills.

  • Deep understanding of platform-native content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.

  • Hands-on experience with UGC pipelines, ambassador/influencer programs, and organic growth strategies.

  • Proficiency with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, and scheduling platforms like Later, Planoly, or Hootsuite.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to extract actionable insights from platform data.

  • Highly creative, proactive, and eager to test and iterate.

  • Passion for beauty, wellness, or science-backed consumer products is a strong plus.
