The company is seeking a Creative Director to lead creative strategy for a biomedical engineering firm that has developed a wearable device for hair regrowth. The role involves defining brand identity, tone of voice, and creative guidelines, translating scientific innovation into compelling stories, and ensuring consistency across all platforms. Responsibilities include leading marketing campaigns, overseeing creative asset production for video, social media, email, and more, and partnering with performance marketing for conversion-optimized creatives. The Creative Director will also build and lead an internal creative team, manage external agencies, and drive a collaborative, data-informed culture. The goal is to scale a category-defining brand through innovative content and storytelling.
Must have:

The Role:
As Creative Director, you will lead the development and execution of the company’s creative strategy across all brand, marketing, and product touchpoints. This includes content direction, campaign production, brand storytelling, and design systems to drive both emotional resonance and performance results across global markets. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across Marketing, Performance, Social, Product, and Content teams to deliver a creative vision that scales a category-defining brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Strategy & Brand Leadership

  • Define and evolve the brand’s visual identity, tone of voice, and creative guidelines.

  • Translate scientific and technical innovation into accessible, compelling storytelling.

  • Ensure visual and verbal consistency across all platforms and channels.

Campaigns & Content Development

  • Lead concepting, art direction, and execution of major marketing campaigns, launches, and brand moments.

  • Oversee creative asset production across video, social media, email, landing pages, influencer/UCG, and more.

  • Partner with performance marketing to deliver conversion-optimized creatives for paid media.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Build and lead an internal creative team including designers, editors, copywriters, and producers.

  • Manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and production vendors.

  • Drive a high-performing, collaborative culture grounded in experimentation and results.

Trendspotting & Innovation

  • Stay ahead of creative trends and emerging content formats (e.g., TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Reels).

  • Develop content series and storytelling formats that drive engagement and virality.

Performance & Optimization

  • Work closely with analytics and marketing teams to evaluate creative performance.

  • Rapidly iterate and scale successful content based on real-time performance data.

What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months):

  • A fully refreshed, scalable brand identity rolled out across all touchpoints.

  • A high-performing library of paid and organic creatives driving down CAC and increasing ROAS.

  • Launch of emotionally resonant brand and content series.

  • Streamlined collaboration between creative, product, and marketing functions.

  • A strong internal and external creative team in place.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 7–10+ years of creative leadership experience in consumer brands—preferably DTC, beauty, wellness, or health-tech.

  • Demonstrated success balancing brand storytelling with performance marketing goals.

  • Strong creative portfolio across digital campaigns, content strategy, and multi-channel design systems.

  • Deep understanding of social-first content and viral formats (TikTok, Reels, UGC).

  • Excellent art direction, visual storytelling, and copy sensibility.

  • Exceptional team leader, communicator, and collaborator.

  • Highly data-informed and iterative in creative processes.

  • Passionate about health, science, beauty, and confidence-boosting products.
