Job Description

As a Software Developer in Test (JavaScript) at Veeam, you will design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable test code for AWS backup and recovery products. Your responsibilities include creating and automating test plans, scripting and automating tasks using languages like Bash, PowerShell, and Python, and collaborating with developers and QA teams. Troubleshooting and resolving complex incidents discovered by CI/CD will also be part of your role. Veeam is looking for someone with at least 2 years of JavaScript (or TypeScript) development experience.

Good To Have:

Experience in end-to-end test development (Playwright)
Understanding of the Page Object Model test design pattern

Must Have:

2+ years of JavaScript or TypeScript development experience
Experience in script creation (Bash, Powershell, Python)

Currently we are looking for a Software Developer in Test for our AWS backup & recovery and other products.

Your tasks will include:

Designing, building and maintaining efficient, reusable and reliable test code
Building and implementing test approaches, and improvements to automation
Creating Test Plans and automating them
Scripting and automating tasks in different languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
Partnering with developers and Q&A to improve and automate tests
Troubleshooting and resolving complex incidents discovered by CI/CD

What we expect from you:

2+ years of development experience with JavaScript (or TypeScript)
Experience in script creation (Bash, Powershell, Python)
A university degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience

Will be an advantage:

Experience in e2e test development (with Playwright or a different test framework)
An understanding of the Page Object Model test design pattern
