TibiaME is the first MMORPG for mobile devices, boasting a loyal global community for over 20 years. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of this classic game. You will shape a vibrant online world and impact the in-game experience for players. This is a chance to actively contribute to the future of an established MMORPG and apply your skills directly to its development. We are seeking a Software Developer for Online Gaming to join our team in Regensburg.

Must have:

Proficient in C++
Experience with games (preferred)
Knowledge of client-server architectures
Ability to work with and improve legacy code
Skill in identifying complex issues and finding practical solutions

Good to have:

Experience with Python, PHP, or Java
Experience with software design
Experience with databases like PostgreSQL
Experience with tools like Jenkins
Motivation to learn new technologies

Softwareentwickler/-in Online Gaming

Bei uns kannst Du:

Deinen Fußabdruck im ersten MMORPG für mobile Geräte hinterlassen
Dich kreativ einbringen, eigene Ideen entwickeln, neue Features schaffen und so das Spielerlebnis verbessern
den Legacy-Code auf das nächste Level bringen, die Performance steigern und durch gezieltes Refactoring das Fundament für zukünftige Erfolge legen
in viele verschiedene Bereiche eintauchen und so einen echt abwechslungsreichen Arbeitsalltag erleben
eigenverantwortlich an komplexen Herausforderungen arbeiten und dabei jeden Tag etwas Neues lernen

Wir stellen uns vor, dass Du:

fundierte Kenntnisse in C++ mitbringst und idealerweise schon mal an einem Game gearbeitet hast
vielleicht sogar schon Erfahrung mit Python, PHP oder Java mitbringst
ein gutes Verständnis für Client-Server-Architekturen mitbringst und gerne mit Legacy-Code arbeitest sowie bestehende Systeme weiterentwickelst
schnell komplexe Zusammenhänge erkennst und Spaß daran hast, pragmatische Lösungen zu finden
Erfahrung mit Software-Design, Datenbanken wie PostgreSQL und Tools wie Jenkins hast oder motiviert bist, Dich in diese Themen einzuarbeiten
