Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience. (This is not an entry-level position.)
  • A passion for games and entertainment that shows. Whether you love video games, board games, cosplay, or freeze tag — we want to know! If it doesn’t shine through your resume (e.g. work, academic, or community experience), please submit a cover letter.
  • Solid knowledge of C++ programming and best practices
  • Demonstrated experience with game engines like Unreal, Unity, or others (hobbyist or academic experience accepted)

Living and working outside the US at Gamebreaking

This position is open to candidates living and working throughout Latin America. Applicants must be fluent in English, willing to work according to US time zones (must be available 8am - 3pm Pacific Time), and have a strong, stable internet connection conducive to remote work and video calls. Outside the US, we work with an Employer of Record (deel.com) to hire full-time employees. This works very similar to how employees would work for a company based in their home country. Note that work authorization in the country you will work from is still required.
