Job Description
As a Software Development Engineer at Apple, you will architect and develop core software, specifically focusing on Apple's Digital Rights Management (DRM) technology. Your responsibilities will include developing code, collaborating with other teams to launch new features and products, and working on projects that impact all aspects of Apple products. You will use your strong software and interpersonal skills to integrate new technology across multiple platforms and architectures, while also supporting multiple projects simultaneously. Your daily tasks will involve researching, designing, developing, integrating, testing, and optimizing DRM Security Software for various Apple products, including iPhones, iPads, Apple TVs, iMacs, and MacBooks. This position requires 40 hours per week.

Architect and develop core software that is incorporated in products and services across Apple, specifically Apple’s proprietary Digital Rights Management (DRM) technology. Develop code and work with other teams to launch new features and products. Work on projects that touch all aspects of Apple products. Use strong software and interpersonal skills to integrate new technology on multiple platforms and architectures. Support multiple projects simultaneously. Research, design, develop, integrate, test and performance optimize DRM Security Software for Apple’s various products including but not limited to iPhones, iPads, AppleTVs, iMacs and MacBooks. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $177,154 - $250,600/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. \n\nPAY & BENEFITS: Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
