Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced Software Engineers in Test to participate in an Agile development environment producing functional software solutions for delivery to our customers. In this role, you should be able to work independently with little supervision while also collaborating with team members. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills, and experience in Agile development methodologies. The individual and team goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business objectives. #Broadcomsoftware

Responsibilities

• Performing validation and verification testing
• Developing and executing high-quality software tests in a continuous integration environment
• Automating tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
• Ensuring test pipelines are up-to-date with latest technologies
• Providing peer leadership in an Agile team environment
• Coordination with management and internal teams

Requirements

• Strong understanding of DB2 and relational database concepts and internals
• Proficiency with Java and Javascript/Typescript
• Experience with Web UI Automation (Playwright or Cypress)
• Experience with REST API Automation (RestAssured Framework)
• Experience with Junit/TestNG framework
• Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
• Knowledge of Jmeter for Stress and Load testing is a plus
• Knowledge of Jenkins groovy scripting for CI/CD is a plus

Experience : Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $91,000 - $146,000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
