Job Description

Broadcom is seeking experienced Software Engineers in Test to participate in an Agile development environment producing functional software solutions for delivery to our customers. The role involves independently developing and delivering functional software solutions, collaborating with team members, and ensuring high-quality software aligned with user needs. Responsibilities include validation, verification, test execution, automation, and peer leadership.
Must have:
  • Perform validation and verification testing
  • Develop and execute high-quality software tests in a continuous integration environment
  • Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
  • Ensure test pipelines are up-to-date with latest technologies
  • Provide peer leadership in an Agile team environment
  • Coordinate with management and internal teams
  • Strong understanding of DB2 and relational database concepts and internals
  • Proficiency with Java and Javascript/Typescript
  • Experience with Web UI Automation (Playwright or Cypress)
  • Experience with REST API Automation (RestAssured Framework)
  • Experience with Junit/TestNG framework
  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of Jmeter for Stress and Load testing
  • Knowledge of Jenkins groovy scripting for CI/CD

You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills, and experience in Agile development methodologies. Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $91,000 - $146,000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
