Software Engineer 2 (IDN - 131)

SageCor Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to provide complete engineering and full lifecycle System Engineering services. The role requires an active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph and involves developing scripts for HPC systems, managing software builds and releases, and implementing CI/CD pipelines. Candidates should have experience with Linux, Bash/Python, IaC tools like Ansible, and containerization technologies such as Docker.

Must Have

• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.
• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools.
• Proficient using Bash/Python to develop scripts to automate provisioning of HPC systems.
• Experience with release management best practices including versioning, automation, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing software builds and releases with one or more programming languages.
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
• Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools including Ansible.
• Experience with Dev/Sec/Ops processes and related FOSS toolchains.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Containerd.
• Experience with Git Source Control System.

Good to Have

• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies for project management and collaboration.

SWE-2 Qualifications:

Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity

OR

Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Position Required Skills:
