What you will accomplish:
Job Duties: Build robust and scalable software and improve existing products. Define, design, and implement highly scalable, resilient and performant distributed systems. Produce clear, well-documented design docs, and participate in design and code reviews. Strictly follow Definition of Done (DoD) process for better quality by maintaining over 80%-unit test coverage and other release criteria standards Develop technical & domain expertise and apply to solving product challenges. Improve code services and system architecture. Participate in brainstorming sessions and supply ideas to our technology, algorithms, and products. Work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements. Estimate engineering efforts, prioritize projects, plan implementations, and triage production issues. Convert abstract concepts into viable products using Cs fundamentals. Aggregate information from various places and build relationships with key partners to get the information you need. Partial telecommuting may be permitted from within a commutable distance.
What you will bring:
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Special Skill Requirements:
1. Object oriented and functional programming languages as Java, Scala, Javascript, Python
2. SQL and NoSQL Databases like MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, HBase
3. Designs and implements efficient and practical solutions to problems in Java/Scala
4. Experience with multiple programming languages and frameworks
5. Experience with microservices architecture
6. Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) practices and CI/CD pipelines
7. Experience with traslating new feature requests with design options and provides estimations
8. Experience with test automation and continuous integration
9. Experience with identifying issues in design and code, and proposes solutions and drives resolution
Salary: $131,997.00-190,100.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
