Join BETA CAE Systems, Greece, as a Software Engineer II at Cadence Design Systems, a leader in mechanical and electronic systems design. You will contribute to shaping the future by developing and promoting impactful products and strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Day-to-day tasks include software development on Linux/Windows, C/C++ programming, designing computational algorithms, algorithmic problem-solving, code maintenance, and creating CFD-oriented user interfaces. This role involves communication and collaboration with development, customer support, and quality assurance teams.
Must have:
  • Working on Software Development using Linux/Windows
  • Programming in C and C++
  • Design, analysis and implementation of computational algorithms
  • Algorithmic problem solving
  • Maintenance, improvement, extension, and debugging of code
  • Design and creation of CFD oriented user interfaces
  • Communication and collaboration with other members of the development, customer support, and quality assurance teams
Good to have:
  • Experience using the C++ Standard Template Library
  • Experience with debugging techniques and performance optimization
  • Experience in using computational engineering and simulation software (e.g., OpenFOAM, Fluent, StarCCM, etc.) and/or other industry recognized CFD tools

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Working on Software Development using Linux/Windows
  • Programming in C and C++
  • Design, analysis and implementation of computational algorithms

Qualifications you need to have:

  • Master’s degree in one of the following disciplines:
  • Computer Science
  • Electrical and Computer Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering (with programming background)
  • Programming skills in C, C++ or Python
  • Familiarity with numerical methods and scientific computing, particularly in the context of fluid dynamics
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication skills in English, suitable for technical and cross-functional collaboration
  • Team spirit

Qualifications that will be considered:
