Job Summary

Join BETA CAE Systems, Greece, as a Software Engineer II at Cadence Design Systems. You will contribute to developing and promoting advanced products for mechanical and electronic systems design, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include developing C/C++ code for Linux/Windows, building software tools for FE analyses, designing algorithms for engineering problems, processing CAE datasets, and creating advanced visualizations for FE models and simulation results.

Must Have

  • Develop and maintain high-quality C/C++ code for Linux and Windows environments
  • Build software tools that streamline the setup and execution of finite element (FE) analyses and simulations
  • Design and implement algorithms for solving engineering problems, delivering robustness and scalability
  • Process datasets coming from various CAE programs
  • Create advanced visualizations for FE models, datasets, and simulation results to support analysis
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams in R&D, Customer Service, and QA
  • Master’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Civil)
  • Knowledge of statics and strength of materials
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in English

Good to Have

  • Diploma or master thesis in Computational Mechanics or related field.
  • Knowledge of the Finite Element Method
  • Experience in CAD/CAE software packages
  • Familiarity with numerical analysis techniques
  • Programming experience in C/C++

Qualifications you need to have:
