Job Description

As a Software Engineer III, Fullstack at Google, you'll design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software for VirusTotal on Google Cloud. You'll manage project priorities and deadlines. This role requires experience in software development (2+ years), data structures/algorithms (2+ years), and proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language (C/C++, Go, Python, JavaScript). Preferred qualifications include experience in web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed systems, machine learning, or security software development. The work involves handling information at a massive scale and pushing technology forward, working on projects critical to Google's needs with opportunities to switch teams.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large software systems, or security software development.
Experience or knowledge of one of the following: Vertex technologies, Langchain, Langraph, Pydantic.
Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C/C++, Go, Python, JavaScript.
