Full Stack Software Engineer (C#+React)

Motorola Solutions is seeking a FullStack Engineer to join the RapidDeploy team, focusing on public safety technology. The role involves building microservices using .NET and Kubernetes, incorporating event-sourcing, CQRS, and message-driven architecture, alongside developing Micro-frontends in React. The engineer will design and develop services and components, coordinating with the team to enhance real-time situational awareness and optimize emergency response operations.

Must Have

• Proficient in C# with good knowledge of its ecosystems.
• Familiarity with .NET framework and .Net Core.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, message queuing, asynchronous and multi-threaded applications.
• Skill for writing reusable C# libraries and clean, readable C# code.
• Complete understanding of React and its main fundamentals.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, object model, event handlers, JSX, and Babel.
• Strong understanding of variables and scoping, RESTful APIs, HTML/CSS, ES6.
• Strong proficiency in Javascript design patterns.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools like Webpack, NPM.

Good to Have

• Familiarity with Domain Driven Design and Event Sourcing.
• Familiarity with Web/Shared/Service Workers.
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript.
• Familiarity with micro frontend architecture.
• Familiarity with Websockets.

Job Description

We are looking for a FullStack Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities will include building microservices (mainly .NET, running in Kubernetes) using paradigms such as event-sourcing, CQRS, message-driven architecture, backends-for-frontends (BFFs), as well as Micro-frontends in React. Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop services and components on this stack, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.

A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and a thirst for elegant code is a must.

Basic Requirements

Backend:

• Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
• Familiarity with the .NET framework as well as .Net Core
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Strong understanding of message queuing
• Strong understanding of asynchronous and multi-threaded applications
• Skill for writing reusable C# libraries
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
• Familiarity with Domain Driven Design and Event Sourcing would be advantageous
• Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#
• Familiarity with NoSQL
• Knack for writing clean, readable C# code
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Augmenting automated testing platforms and creating unit tests
• Familiarity with development pipeline and release management tools

Frontend:

• Complete understanding of React and its main fundamentals
