Job Description

Forcepoint is seeking a third-year student with hands-on AI experience to accelerate engineering and product teams. The role involves identifying high-friction workflows, building AI automations (scripts, agents, Copilot/Cursor workflows, prompts, n8n pipelines), and developing lightweight services (FastAPI/Streamlit apps) integrated with Git, CI, docs, and ticketing. The student will also evaluate AI tools, measure their impact, document best practices, and support data-security use cases like PII detection and content classification with a security-first mindset.
Good To Have:
  • Experience with n8n/Airflow, Docker, FastAPI/Streamlit, OCR pipelines, or vector databases.
  • Exposure to DLP / cybersecurity concepts.
  • Familiarity with Copilot/Cursor in Java/C++ codebases.
Must Have:
  • Actively enrolled in a B.Sc. (CS/EE/Math or related), 3rd year.
  • Demonstrated track record of using AI to speed up work (include 1–2 examples with before/after metrics).
  • Practical coding skills in Python and/or Java/C++; solid with Git and IDEs (VS Code / IntelliJ).
  • Comfort with LLM workflows: prompt design, calling APIs/SDKs, basic tooling (embeddings/RAG/vector stores) is a plus.
  • Strong judgment on data privacy and security (no sensitive data in prompts; safe evaluation; access control).

Who is Forcepoint?

Forcepoint simplifies security for global businesses and governments. Forcepoint’s all-in-one, truly cloud-native platform makes it easy to adopt Zero Trust and prevent the theft or loss of sensitive data and intellectual property no matter where people are working. 20+ years in business. 2.7k employees. 150 countries. 11k+ customers. 300+ patents. If our mission excites you, you’re in the right place; we want you to bring your own energy to help us create a safer world. All we’re missing is you!

We’re looking for a third-year student who has hands-on experience using AI to increase day-to-day velocity—someone who already automates tasks, prototypes with LLMs, and measurably improves workflows. You’ll help our engineering and product teams accelerate execution by building small AI tools, automations, and assistants that are safe, reliable, and privacy-aware.

What you’ll do

  • Identify high-friction workflows and ship AI automations (scripts, agents, Copilot/Cursor workflows, prompts, n8n pipelines) that save real time.
  • Build lightweight services (e.g., FastAPI/Streamlit apps) and internal tools that integrate with Git, CI, docs, and ticketing.
  • Evaluate AI tools (Copilot, Cursor, GPT/Claude APIs), measure impact, and document best practices.
  • Support data-security use cases (e.g., PII detection in text/images, content classification) with a security-first mindset.

Must-have qualifications

Nice to have

  • Experience with n8n/Airflow, Docker, FastAPI/Streamlit, OCR pipelines, or vector databases.
  • Exposure to DLP / cybersecurity concepts.
  • Familiarity with Copilot/Cursor in Java/C++ codebases.

Work model & eligibility

  • Part-time (20–40%) during the academic year. (work is not hybrid)
  • Student position applies only while you are studying (continued enrollment required).
  • Working proficiency in Hebrew and English.

How to apply

Send your LinkedIn profile plus a one-page portfolio covering:

Two AI automations you built (context, approach, before/after time saved, links/code if possible).

A short note on how you keep data safe when working with AI tools.

(Optional) GitHub links or demo videos.

Don’t meet every single qualification? Studies show people are hesitant to apply if they don’t meet all requirements listed in a job posting. Forcepoint is focused on building an inclusive and diverse workplace – so if there is something slightly different about your previous experience, but it otherwise aligns and you’re excited about this role, we encourage you to apply. You could be a great candidate for this or other roles on our team.

The policy of Forcepoint is to provide equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, citizenship status, age, national origin, ancestry, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status and to affirmatively seek to advance the principles of equal employment opportunity.

Forcepoint is committed to being an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers opportunities to all job seekers, including job seekers with disabilities. If you are a qualified individual with a disability or a disabled veteran, you may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Company’s career webpage as a result of your disability. Applicants must have the right to work in the location to which you have applied.
