This role involves executing both automated and manual software testing throughout the development cycle, ensuring high-quality deliverables. The lead will implement test strategies, review requirements for testability, and collaborate with scrum teams on test planning. Responsibilities include performing functional, performance, load, and reliability testing, utilizing automation tools and scripting languages. The role also involves documenting test plans, supporting design changes, and validating AI-based products, leveraging customer insights for effective test strategies.
Must have:
  • Execute software testing activities (automated and manual)
  • Implement software test strategies at feature and system levels
  • Review functional and non-functional requirements for accuracy and testability
  • Collaborate on test planning, participation, and demo activities
  • Execute functional, performance, load, and reliability testing
  • Utilize automation tools, simulation models, test frameworks, and scripting languages
  • Document test plans, protocols, and reports
  • Support design changes by assessing impact on product quality
  • Understand data requirements and AI model metrics for validation and testing of AI-based products
  • Harness customer knowledge for testing strategies and prioritization
  • 9-12 years of software testing experience
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience testing with Microsoft Azure or JIRA
  • At least 5 years of experience building automation test suites and reusable test frameworks
  • At least 5 years of experience using Selenium, Playwright, Appium or similar automation tools
  • Engaged participant in all testing tasks: planning, design, integration, test, deployment and improvement
  • Strong analytical skill with ability to negotiate and capture requirements
Good to have:
  • Experience in testing REST web services using Rest Assured library or Postman
  • Experience in tools like AzureDevOps and writing shell scripts to automate build/deploy
  • Experience with testing, deployment and support of software applications in a regulated business environment
  • ISTQB Advanced certification
  • Experience in medical domain

Job Details

Job Responsibilities:

• Executes software testing activities, both automated and manual, throughout the development cycle within agile or scrum teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet customer needs.

• Offers expertise in implementing software test strategies and initiatives at the feature and system levels, contributing to the overall quality assurance process.

• Reviews functional and non-functional requirements, stories, and features to ensure accuracy and testability, providing valuable insights to enhance the testing process.

• Collaborates with scrum teams and other stakeholders on test planning, participating in testing, planning, and demo activities to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Executes a diverse range of testing methodologies, encompassing functional, performance, load, and reliability testing, to meticulously validate the software's functionality and robustness across different usage scenarios and conditions.

• Utilizes automation tools, simulation models, test frameworks, and scripting languages to automate tests and streamline the testing process, improving efficiency and accuracy.

• Documents meticulously crafted test plans, protocols, and reports, maintaining thorough records of testing activities and outcomes to facilitate comprehensive reference and analysis, thereby ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the testing process.

• Supports design changes by rigorously assessing their potential impact on product quality, strategizing and implementing appropriate testing measures to uphold product integrity and mitigate risks effectively.

• Exhibits a deep understanding of data requirements and AI model metrics, actively contributing to the validation and testing processes of AI-based products and solutions, preparing the AI Model validation dataset.

• Harnesses valuable insights from customer knowledge to inform testing strategies and prioritize test scenarios effectively, aligning testing efforts closely with customer expectations and needs to enhance product usability and satisfaction.

Minimum required Education:

Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.

Minimum required Experience:

Total 9-12 years of software testing experience in various stages of product lifecycle. Design, Development, maintenance stages.

At least 5 years of job-related, hands-on experience, testing and documenting the application’s use cases with tools like Microsoft Azure or JIRA

At least 5 years of hands-on experience, building automation test suites and demonstrated experience in building reusable test frameworks.

At least 5 years of work experience using Selenium, Playwright, Appium or similar automation tools

An engaged participant in all testing tasks: planning, design, integration, test, deployment and improvement.

Experience in testing REST web services using Rest Assured library or Postman, is a plus

Experience in tools like AzureDevOps and writing shell scripts to automate build, deploy of product code to cloud.

Experience with testing, deployment and support of software applications in a regulated business environment, a definite plus

Strong analytical skill with the ability to negotiate and capture requirements accurately and succinctly.

Preferred to have:

ISTQB Advanced

Experience in medical domain

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
