gTech's Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) team empowers Product Areas (PAs) to optimize outsourced operations while reducing risks and driving efficiency through the enforcement of Google best practices and policies. We advocate for informed decision-making, ensuring our partners find the right talent in the right locations. Our collaboration across Google leads to streamlined processes, minimizing administrative burdens and optimizing the extended workforce (xW) experience. We ensure Google's policies and guidelines are consistently adhered to. This role will serve as a partner and trusted advisor to the Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) organization’s executive leadership, helping to land, rethink, and shape the future of xWS. You will help design solutions that enable our partners/Product Areas to succeed in their business objectives by optimizing operational costs cross-Alphabet, identify efficiencies and help to mitigate risk and compliance across Alphabet. You will also identify opportunities to enhance operational costs across Google via building functional relationships with Product Areas and Vendor Management Organizations (VMOs) to influence Extended Workforce Solutions (xWF) specific cost, category, and supplier management strategy. You will be working with cross-functional stakeholders and leaders to gather data and conduct business analyses with effective project communication and management. You will also identify and engage cross-Alphabet Product Area stakeholders on extended workforce solutions and gain their buy-in to utilize the services being designed.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 6 years of experience in program or project management
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
  • Experience with either extended workforce or supplier agreements/vendor management
Good to have:
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • 3 years of experience in organizational change and implementation of vendor services and capabilities
  • 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience with thought leadership in managing projects with business operations across international markets
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to take complex, topics and create engaging narratives for different audiences
  • Excellent problem solving skills to extract insights from unstructured datasets

Minimum qualifications:

Responsibilities
