Job Summary

The Specialist Geology role at Oil Support Services involves independently undertaking complex assignments, constructing and validating 3D geological static models, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for volumetric estimation. Must Have

  • Independently undertake complex assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Construct and validate 3D geological static models.
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to estimate volumetric.
  • Ensure project health by meeting timelines, quality standards, objectives, and deliverables through effective collaboration.
  • Conduct innovative research in geological modeling.
  • Maintain relationships with industry and academic institutions to stay updated on technical & software skills.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and technical support to junior staff and peers.
  • Make critical decisions and solve complex problems.
  • Map fluid surfaces and distribution.
  • Perform data analysis and quality validation throughout property modeling workflows.
  • Utilize the latest technologies to enhance resource assessment processes.
  • Work closely with petro-physicists, geoscientists, and engineers to produce accurate 3D models.
  • Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve modeling quality and efficiency.
  • Minimum experience in 3D modeling 10 years.
