Job Summary
Moon Active is seeking a highly experienced and passionate Spine Animator to create game interfaces for Family Island. The role involves creating 2D animations for characters and buildings, special effects, and preparing animation materials for software implementation. The animator will collaborate closely with developers and contribute to product quality, showing initiative and responsibility.
Must Have
- Create game special effects using Particle Editor and Adobe After Effects.
- Create 2D animations for game characters and buildings using Spine.
- Prepare textures in Photoshop, including arranging and creating sequences.
- Create and edit animation textures such as particles and atlases.
- Prepare animation materials for software implementation.
- Complete animation tables for developers, specifying timings and parameter changes.
- Collaborate closely with developers throughout animation implementation.
- 3+ years experience in 2D character animation.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop.
- Expertise in using Spine for animation.
- Basic drawing skills and artistic taste.
- Proficiency in English.

Moon Active is looking for a highly experienced, versatile, and passionate Spine Animator to join the team. You will be creating animation of game interfaces for one of our games - Family Island. You will be contributing to the quality of our products, look for points for growth, show initiative and take responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Creating game special effects using Particle Editor and Adobe After Effects;
- Creating 2D animations for game characters and buildings with an isometric view, using Spine;
- Preparing textures in Photoshop, including arranging textures, creating additional sequences for building elements and effects in After Effects;
- Creating and editing animation textures such as particles and atlases;
- Preparing animation materials for software implementation, including creating sequence atlases, cutting necessary textures, and exporting animations from Spine to the engine;
- Completing animation tables for developers, specifying timings, easing, and parameter changes over time;
- Collaborating closely with developers throughout the animation implementation process.
Requirements
- Experience in 2D character animation (3+ years);
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop;
- Expertise in using Spine for animation purposes;
- Basic drawing skills;
- Artistic taste, including knowledge of anatomy, animation principles, color theory, shape, proportions, and composition;
- Proficiency in English;
- Portfolio showcasing examples of work in a casual style.
