Diversity and Inclusivity at Zapier
You have 5+ years of Benefits administration experience. U.S.-based with strong expertise in U.S. benefits and leave compliance, in-house benefits administration experience, and international program administration strongly preferred. Experience managing leave programs, accommodations, and perks, including vendor and payroll coordination. Proven ability to implement and refine wellness programs that improve employee engagement and well-being.
You have excellent written communication skills and documentation practices. We’re a 100% remote team, and writing is our primary means of communication. Additionally, you’ll need to keep excellent records and clearly document processes to keep key stakeholders informed.
You have strong analytical skills. Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets, formulas, dashboards, and data storytelling. You influence stakeholders and ensure alignment on program design and policy changes through data-driven recommendations. Analyze industry trends and employee feedback to advise on the evolution of perks programs, ensuring offerings remain competitive and impactful.
You have strong attention to detail. Act as subject matter expert (SME) for benefits, leave, accommodations, perks, and wellness, advising People Ops, Finance, Compensation, Payroll, and Legal with clear recommendations. You own problems and use sound judgement to solve complex issues.
You’re strong at time management. You can juggle fast-moving projects, work autonomously with minimal supervision, and build scalable, efficient processes.
You have an AI-First Mindset. You're naturally curious about AI and regularly experiment with different AI tools to drive efficiency in your day-to-day work or personal life.

At Zapier, we believe that diverse perspectives and experiences make us better, which is why we have a non-standard application process designed to promote inclusion and equity. We're looking for the best fit for each of our roles, regardless of the type of education or companies in your background, so we encourage you to apply even if your skills and experiences don’t exactly match the job description. All we ask is that you answer a few in-depth questions in our application that would typically be asked at the start of an interview process. This helps speed things up by letting us get to know you and your skillset a bit better right out of the gate. Please be sure to answer each question; the resume and CV fields are optional.
After you apply, you are going to hear back from us—even if we don’t see an immediate fit with our team. In fact, throughout the process, we strive to never go more than seven days without letting you know the status of your application. We know we’ll make mistakes from time to time, so if you ever have questions about where you stand or about the process, just ask your recruiter!
