Job Description

Nexters is seeking a Business Development Manager for Hero Wars to drive new monetization and growth initiatives. This role involves identifying business opportunities, evaluating revenue potential, preparing business cases, aligning internal teams, and managing external negotiations from idea to execution, ultimately opening new revenue streams for the product.
Good To Have:
  • Experience working with the Chinese market (stores, publishers, UA channels).
  • Familiarity with the creator economy, IP licensing, brand partnerships.
Must Have:
  • Explore and evaluate new revenue opportunities across platforms, markets, and partner types — including alternative stores, creators, IP licensing, brand partnerships, and new regions (e.g., China).
  • Conduct market research, benchmark comparable cases, and estimate revenue potential based on relevant business and product factors.
  • Prepare business cases with financial projections and resource estimates (product, analytics, legal, etc.).
  • Find and engage external partners: studios, platforms, creators, payment providers, brands, etc.
  • Lead negotiations, structure partnership deals and sign contracts.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure approvals and successful implementation.
  • Launch pilot initiatives and scale those that prove successful.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships within the mobile gaming industry.
  • Proven track record of managing the full deal lifecycle — from initial outreach and negotiation to contract signing and launch.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market potential and evaluate new business opportunities.
  • Experience developing structured business cases with revenue projections and resource planning.
  • Ability to align cross-functional stakeholders (product, analytics, legal, finance) and drive initiatives through internal approval.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken), including experience in commercial and contractual negotiations.
  • High level of independence, ownership mindset, and focus on delivering tangible results.

About your role

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the launch of new monetization and growth initiatives initiatives for Hero Wars, one of the most recognizable gaming IPs. In this role, you’ll identify business opportunities, evaluate their revenue potential, prepare business cases, align internal teams, and manage external negotiations through to launch. This is a high-impact position where you’ll drive initiatives from idea to execution and open new revenue streams for the product.
