Sr Business Consultant

This role involves delivering product implementation and integration services, working as part of a consulting team on various projects at customer sites or offshore. The consultant will handle diverse activities requiring data analysis and judgment in problem-solving, coordinate project tasks, and provide internal training and support. Key requirements include 5-8 years of experience in supply chain solutions, preferably with BlueYonder products, strong business analysis, statistical algorithms, SCM concepts, and presentation skills.

Must Have

• Responsible for services delivery of product implementation and related integration.
• Works as a member of a consulting team on product implementation, enhancement, managed services, integration, custom projects.
• Handles activities with a diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
• Exercises judgment on methods and techniques for obtaining solutions within generally defined practices and policies.
• Co-ordinates project tasks on engagements.
• Provides internal training, implementation support activities, or work on internal development projects.
• 5 – 8 years of hands-on experience as a business consultant providing supply chain solutions for customers.
• Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of statistical algorithms, SCM concepts, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain.
• Understanding and experience with the technical requirements for the product line assigned.
• Understands Blue Yonders product suite so as to convey relationships and touch-points to the customer.
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user and management.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

Good to Have

• Specific experience working with BlueYonder supply chain planning solutions (Demand, Fulfill, Allocation, EP, Assortment).
• Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Operations Research.
• Relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as Oracle, SAP, or leading ERP.
• Relevant industry certification from APICS.
• Current or prior experience working in Management consulting organization or Supply Chain Center or Excellence settings.

What you’ll do:

What we are looking for:

• 5 – 8 years of hands-on experience, as a business consultant providing supply chain solutions for customers required. Specific experience working with BlueYonder supply chain planning solutions (Demand, Fulfill, Allocation, EP, Assortment ) as either a customer of BLUE YONDER or as a consultant implementing BLUE YONDER solutions for customers preferred.
• Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Operations Research preferred. A combination of Bachelor ’s degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree
• Relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as Oracle, SAP, or leading ERP may be considered.
• Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of statistical algorithms, SCM concepts, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain required
• Relevant industry certification from APICS will be a plus
• Current or prior experience working in Management consulting organization or Supply Chain Center or Excellence settings preferred
• Skill set and availability requirements as per the organization's needs
• Understanding and experience with the technical requirements for the product line assigned.
• Understands Blue Yonders product suite so as to convey relationships and touch-points to the customer.
• Works with appropriate parties to ensure issues are resolved.
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user and management. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills required
• Ad-hoc travel required (short term and even long term).
