Job Description

This position is responsible for completing monthly standard financial worksheets and reports for corporate finance, including internal and ad hoc analysis. Key duties involve maintaining a product costing system, analyzing COGS and cost variances, inventory evaluation, forecasting, process review, and reporting. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Must have:
  • Analyzing data collected and recording results
  • Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual costs
  • Analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports
  • Analyzing Supply Chain Cash Flow
  • Maintaining Cost Accounting System
  • Assisting in month end close of the General Ledger
  • Account for Royalties
  • Account for Tariffs
  • Reconciles costs of inventories

Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for completing the monthly standard financial worksheets and reports required for corporate finance. Monthly internal analysis will be completed, and ad hoc analysis conducted as directed. This position will also be responsible for maintaining a product costing system, COGS and cost variance analysis reports, inventory evaluation, forecasting, process review and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing data collected and recording results
  • Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual costs
  • Analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports
  • Analyzing Supply Chain Cash Flow
  • Maintaining Cost Accounting System
  • Assisting in month end close of the General Ledger
  • Account for Royalties
  • Account for Tariffs
  • Reconciles costs of inventories

Requirement/Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability for independent thinking and self-direction
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting (cost accounting/public accounting/auditing preferred)
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Oracle experience is preferred
  • Ability to accurately prepare financial reports

Salary based on qualifications and experience up to 80K plus bonus
